Edward J. Albert, Ed.D
Executive Director
Biography

About Edward J. Albert, Ed.D

Education: Doctorate in Education – Nova University, FL; Superintendent's Certificate – University of Pennsylvania, PA; Master's degree, Special Education – Millersville University, PA; Elementary Principal's Certificate – Temple University, PA; BS Physical Education; Comprehensive, mentally and physically handicapped; safety, health, and driver education – Salem College, WV. Professional experience: special education teacher, elementary principal, staff and curriculum specialist, assistant superintendent, and superintendent. Dr. Albert is also known for his educational consulting on a variety of topics and consults throughout the country. He also conducts superintendent searches throughout Pennsylvania. Personal interests: Dr. Albert enjoys spending time with his two grown children, Penn State games, and is an avid fan of the Yankees and Packers. He enjoys traveling, especially to see Broadway shows in New York City, and he is still trying to perfect his golf game.

Brian K. Griffith, D.Ed

Biography

About Brian K. Griffith, D.Ed

Dr. Brian K. Griffith is a proud product of rural schools and has dedicated his entire career to serving rural communities. An accomplished and visionary leader with over three decades of experience in public education, he has served as superintendent of the Penns Valley Area School District since 2008. In this role, he has led transformative efforts in comprehensive planning, instructional innovation, fiscal stewardship, and community engagement. Dr. Griffith began his career as a secondary mathematics teacher and has held a range of leadership positions, including assistant principal, principal, and assistant superintendent. He earned his doctorate in educational leadership from The Pennsylvania State University where his dissertation examined the financial impact of charter school enrollment on traditional public-school systems. Recognized with numerous awards for his leadership and service to public education, Dr. Griffith is also a dynamic speaker and advocate. He has presented at state and national conferences on topics including school improvement, budget planning, and educational leadership. His work reflects a deep, enduring commitment to student achievement, staff development, and the advancement of public education specifically in rural communities.

About Woodrow H. Sites, D.Ed

Education: D.Ed. Educational Administration – Pennsylvania State University; M.Ed. Educational Administration – Pennsylvania State University; BS Ed. Elementary Education – Millersville State College (now University). Professional Experience: elementary teacher with assignments in kindergarten through 6th grades, elementary principal, school business official, assistant superintendent, and superintendent. Following his active service in Pennsylvania's public schools, he served as an education management consultant and adjunct professor for Pennsylvania State University. Personal interests: outdoor activities (birdwatching, wildflowers, national parks), Nascar racing, camping and traveling in his motorhome with wife, Sam, and family, and following college sports, especially PSU football.

About Jon Rednak, Ed.D

Education: BS in Secondary Education – Millersville University; M. Ed. Secondary Education – Kutztown University; Principal Certification and Superintendent Letter of Eligibility – Temple University; Elementary Education – University of Scranton; D.Ed. Educational Administration – Nova Southeastern University. Professional Experience: high school teacher and coach, program director of an alternative school, high school principal, assistant superintendent, superintendent, and regional search director for a national consulting firm. Dr. Rednak has presented at the national level on various topics and served on several boards of directors. He has also served as a graduate instructor. Personal interests: golfing and traveling to Tampa during the cold winter months with his wife, Carol. He is also an avid Steelers fan.

Ashley Rednak, Ed.D

About Ashley Rednak, Ed.D

Dr. Ashley Rednak is the PARSS conference coordinator and also serves as the director of technology at Pequea Valley School District. Ashley holds a doctoral degree in educational leadership from Immaculata University, a master’s degree in instructional design & technology along with her instructional technology specialist certification from Philadelphia University, and a bachelor’s degree in speech communication and public relations from Millersville University. Ashley has spoken at local, regional, and national conferences and is a subject matter expert in the areas of mass customized learning, transformational technologies, 1-to-1 deployments and programs, internet safety and digital citizenship, mobile technology, and Apple hardware/software solutions. In her spare time, she enjoys concerts, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.
